Hero Tanikaze and his middle-gendered friend Shinatose are both promoted while the scion of the Kunato family delves in dubious experiments. After a forbidden room is unsealed, heroic pilot Saito is no longer the only legendary Sidonian with a deceptive avatar on board. Meanwhile, an incoming asteroid forces the spaceship's mobile units to skirmish in a positive-gravity environment.

Calling the shots is Assistant Commander Yuhata Midorikawa, still new in her role, unsure but unshrinking. Nagate Tanikaze was a homeless teen living in the depths of a space colony with a thing for simulation games and stealing rice. Now he is the lead fighter pilot protecting said space colony from a race of shape-shifting space giants! As though dissatisfied that the war against the Gauna is entering a lull, humanity struggles with monsters of its own making. This comes from a collection that is well cared for and carefully stored in a clean, smoke free home.
