This is a complete set of all 14 volumes of Rumiko Takahashis. Maison Ikkoku manga in English.

This was Takahashis follow up series to her wildly popular first series Urusei Yatsura and was followed by many other incredibly popular series such as Ranma 1/2 , Inuyasha and Rin-Ne. Out of all of her series, this one is unique in that it is a romantic comedy centering around a cast of characters living in Japan who are all human no aliens, demons, or cursed martial artists!

I personally put off reading this series until I had read her other works thinking this would be the least interesting of the lot, but it turned out to be her best work! The characters are incredibly engaging and funny.

The story takes place in real time over the years it was published with the characters evolving and it portrays a great slice of life of Tokyo in the 1980s. These books are the original long out of print, rare larger-size printings by Viz. They later republished them across 15 volumes in smaller-sized books.

All of the books are in great condition with only minor shelf wear (see the photos).
